AMP Technologist Poster Award
The AMP Technologist Poster Awards recognize the best abstracts submitted by AMP members who are nondoctoral technologists or medical technologists. The award will be bestowed annually to multiple worthy recipients at the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo.
Award amount: Three winners receive $500 each; up to 10 honorable mentions receive $150 each
Application opens: April 1, 2025

These awards are supported in part by Asuragen.The technologist must be the first author of an abstract submitted for the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo.
Application requirements
The technologist must submit an abstract to the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo and apply for the award upon abstract submission.
The laboratory director must attest to the technologist's eligibility for consideration.
Judging criteria
Each abstract will be judged on originality, utility, scientific merit and overall presentation. The judging criteria are as follows:
- Background, rationale and originality (10 points)
- Experimental design (10 points)
- Validity of conclusions (10 points)
- Significance of findings (10 points)
- Overall written poster (20 points)

Appropriate references and acknowledgements - Quality of oral presentation of work (30 points)
