Subdivisions

Genetics Subdivision

The Genetics Subdivision is comprised of AMP members who indicate that they have a professional interest in medical genetics. The Genetics Subdivision Leadership has membership on the Clinical Practice, Nominating, Program, and Training & Education Committees to ensure the continuing education and professional development of those who use molecular diagnostics in the diagnosis and management of genetics diseases and disorders.

Hematopathology Subdivision

The Hematopathology Subdivision is comprised of AMP members who indicate that they have a professional interest in hematopathology. The Hematopathology Subdivision Leadership has membership on the Clinical Practice, Nominating, Program, and Training & Education Committees to ensure the continuing education and professional development of those who use molecular diagnostics in the diagnosis and management of leukemias and lymphomas.

Infectious Diseases Subdivision

The Infectious Diseases Subdivision is comprised of AMP members who indicate that they have a professional interest in infectious diseases. The Infectious Diseases Subdivision Leadership has membership on the Clinical Practice, Nominating, Program, and Training & Education Committees to ensure the continuing education and professional development of those who use molecular diagnostics in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases. Recent projects, responsibilities and accomplishments include organizing a workgroup to discuss HSV testing.

Informatics Subdivision

The Informatics Subdivision is comprised of AMP members who indicate that they have a professional interest in informatics. The Informatics Subdivision Leadership has membership on the Clinical Practice, Nominating, Program, and Training & Education Committees to ensure the continuing education and professional development of those who have a professional interest in informatics which is inclusive of bioinformatics, clinical informatics and other informatics as it relates to molecular and genomic pathology.

Solid Tumors Subdivision

The Solid Tumors Subdivision is comprised of AMP members who indicate that they have a professional interest in solid tumors. The Solid Tumors Subdivision Leadership has membership on the Clinical Practice, Nominating, Program, and Training & Education Committees to ensure the continuing education and professional development of those who use molecular diagnostics in the diagnosis and management of solid tumors.
