 AMP Executive Officer Mark E. Sobel, MD, PhD, comments on the Labcorp v. Metabolite case in the March 2006 issue of the AAMC Reporter (print version only).  “If the court rules for Metabolite in this case, we feel that it could put in jeopardy all forms of laboratory testing,” said Dr. Sobel.  Read the amici curae brief filed on behalf of Labcorp as well as AMP’s position on patent and licensing practices in the Professional Relations section of our website.
