Molecular Genetic Pathology Review Course

The AMP Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP) Review Course is a live event held biennially. The 2017 Course will be held Thursday, June 1 through Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Bethesda, MD. The course features 3.5 days of an intense update and review of molecular diagnostics that is primarily focused on preparation for the Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP) Subspecialty Certification Exam, as well as other certification exams. Participants have the opportunity to learn directly from recognized experts in molecular pathology, most of whom hold MGP certification.

The objectives of the AMP MGP Review Course are:

  • to assist attendees' preparation for the MGP Subspecialty Certification Exam (offered jointly by the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Medical Genetics), as well as other certification exams in molecular pathology and molecular genetics, and
  • to increase basic and applied pathology knowledge, focusing on the molecular pathogenesis, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of disease.
