AMP 2015 Science Educator Workshop

Teaching Precision Medicine, Genomics, and Molecular Diagnostics in Your Classroom

The AMP Training & Education Committee is planning a new, all-day workshop event targeting high school and college science teachers who live and/or work in the vicinity of Austin Texas, this year's AMP Annual Meeting location. The "Science Educator Workshop (SEW)" is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 8:30am - 3:45pm. Our main goals are to:

  1. Update teachers/instructors on relevant, timely topics in the clinical molecular diagnostics laboratory, and
  2. Provide an awareness of the molecular pathology profession through sharing academic and personal life experiences as a means of workforce development.
