We invite you to attend the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) 16th Annual Meeting and Exhibits November 17-20, 2010, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, CA. The AMP 2010 Annual Meeting is co-sponsored by The American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP)
This four-day event will feature a first day (November 17) of Corporate-Sponsored Workshops featuring the latest scientific advances and equipment, followed by three days (November 18-20) of cutting-edge lectures, workshops, and a keynote lecture presented by Patrick O. Brown, MD, PhD, Stanford University, distinguished recipient of the 2010 AMP Award for Excellence in Molecular Diagnostics, as well as Corporate exhibits, working lunch meetings, and casual social gatherings offering opportunities for networking and further exchange with molecular laboratory professionals.
Programming includes poster sessions and invited speakers for workshop and plenary sessions in the major areas of clinical molecular diagnostics: hematopathology, infectious diseases, inherited genetic diseases, solid tumors, and technical topics.
The meeting is preceded on Wednesday, November 17, by a special feature of the meeting which requires separate registration. The Outreach Program, Current Applications of Molecular Pathology: Real Time Updates and Case Studies is a one-day course for pathologists, laboratory directors and technologists who have little experience with molecular diagnostic testing. Registration for this Community Pathology Outreach Program is separate from registration for the scientific sessions.
