Minority Trainee Travel Award

The American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP), through the auspices of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program, supported by a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), National Institutes of Health, is funding a limited number of Minority Trainee Travel Awards to promote the entry of under-represented minority scientists and minority-serving institutions into the mainstream of the basic science community and to encourage the participation of young pathologists in the AMP Annual Meeting. Successful applicants will be awarded significant funds. These funds are meant to defray meeting registration, air, ground, lodging/subsistence expenses only.

The AMP Training and Education Committee will select the recipients based on the submitted application and supporting documents. Eligibility will be subject to verification by the MARC Program since the grant form NIGMS requires strict adherence to eligibility requirements.
