Member Survey Report - The AMP Organization

Volunteer Service: 80% of respondents have never served as an AMP volunteer.  Respondents who have served as an AMP volunteer have done so as elected members of a Committee (70%), Council (30%), and/or as a non-elected ad hoc volunteer (48%).

Interest Groups: 64% of respondents would like AMP to add an Pharmacogenetics/Pharmacogenomics Interest Group; 47% an Informatics group; 37% would like state or regional groups.

AMP Customer Service: 93% of respondents rate AMP Customer service as Good or Excellent.

Most Important Areas of Focus Over the Next 3 Years: Advance influence & visibility regarding public policy (64%); advance influence & visibility regarding reimbursement (56%); develop educational opportunities beyond the annual meeting (52%); provide molecular pathology education for non-molecular lab professionals (49%); expand international membership (21%).
