AMP Table Talks
Interested in discussing a specific topic over lunch? AMP Table Talks are a new initiative by the AMP Program Committee to engage attendees in active discussion of current issues in Molecular Pathology during the General Lunch on Saturday, November 19th. To see a list of currently scheduled topics, sign up to participate in a specific discussion, or to add a discussion topic please visit the information board in the Registration Area.

Business Meeting & Awards Session
Come hear how AMP is working hard to help you advance patient care. AMP invites all Meeting Attendees to attend the AMP Business Meeting & Awards Session on Friday, November 18 at 5:15pm. A number of awards, including the Young Investigator, Technologist and Leadership Awards are presented at this session.

CHAMP 2.0
CHAMP 2.0 will offer AMP members new and more in-depth ways to engage with each other. Stop by the Registration Area to see all that CHAMP 2.0 has to offer! Demonstrations and other information will be available.

CME
The Association for Molecular Pathology 2011 Annual Meeting has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. More information can be found on page 13.

P.A.C.E.®
AMP is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences through the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® (Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education) program. The AMP 2011 Annual Meeting has been approved for 19.5 P.A.C.E.® credits. More information can be found on page 17.

Level of Learning
The Meeting Schedule and Descriptions section of the Program include a level of learning for each session. Following is a key to the levels of learning:

Basic Entry level
Intermediate Some basic knowledge required
Advanced Current knowledge and extensive experience required

AMP Social Event
The AMP Social Event will take place on Friday, November 18th at 7:30pm. The Social Event is intended to facilitate networking opportunities between trainees, new, and long-standing AMP members. There will be mingling, dancing, amateur acts and great food! Attendees who purchased tickets when registering for the meeting should have received their tickets by mail along with their attendee name badge and material pick-up voucher. If any tickets are still available for sale, they may be purchased at the Registration Desk. In honor of the great state of Texas, our gracious host, this year’s Social Event has a cowboy theme! Don’t forget your hat and boots!

Ribbon Bar:
NEW this year! Stop by the RIBBON BAR located in the Registration Area to pick-up applicable ribbon(s) for your meeting badge, i.e., Committee, Speaker, Awardee, First Time Attendee and others.
