We invite you to attend the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) 15th Annual Meeting and Exhibits November 19-22, 2009, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, Kissimmee, FL

This four-day event will feature cutting-edge lectures, workshops, and a keynote lecture presented by Kay E. Davies, PhD, University of Oxford, distinguished recipient of the 2009 AMP Award for Excellence in Molecular Diagnostics

Programming includes poster sessions and invited speakers for workshop and plenary sessions in the major areas of clinical molecular diagnostics
: hematopathology, infectious diseases, inherited genetic diseases, solid tumors, and technical topics.

The meeting is preceded by one day of Corporate-Sponsored Workshops featuring the latest scientific advances and equipment. Corporate exhibits, working lunch meetings, and casual social gatherings offer opportunities for networking and further exchange with molecular laboratory professionals.

A special feature of the meeting is the Outreach Program, Real Time Updates and New Clinical Applications in Molecular Pathology, a one-day course for pathologists, laboratory directors and technologists who have little experience with molecular diagnostic testing.  Registration for this Community Pathology Outreach Program is separate from registration for the scientific sessions.

New for 2009! AMP is an associate member of the Intersociety Council for Pathology Information (ICPI) which qualifies AMP members to be considered for the ICPI Trainee Travel Award which supports trainee participation in scientific meetings organized by its sponsoring and associate member societies. A limited number of ICPI Trainee Travel Awards of $500 each are available.
